Seth has played acoustic and electric mandolin for nearly 30 years, covering a wide variety of styles, including swing and western swing. He plays a 5-string Earnest electric by Joel Eckhaus with two northeast Ohio bands: Crazy Rhythm, a swing band; and the Suspenders, a rhythm and blues band. When he acquired the Earnest, Seth put his 1959 Epiphone electric up for sale. He leads swing workshops at West Virginia's Augusta Heritage Center, and has some swing lessons online at Mandolin Cafe.
