WANTED: Harmony Batwing neck, 1960s–early ’70s.
I have a Harmony Batwing mandolin project that needs a new neck before it can come together.
Somewhere out there, over the rainbow, there must be a bashed-in Batwing, either acoustic or electric, whose neck is in good shape. I'll pay $100 plus shipping for the right neck. It must be of the bolt-on type that attaches with three long wood screws. If you can include the screws, so much the better. Ideally the tuners and bushings will be present and in good shape, but if they are not, it isn't necessarily a deal breaker.
I'll pay a bit of a premium for a truss rod and/or a headplate with the pre-1973 cutout logo.
