Vintage Fender Princeton Reverb amp, 1965. $5,000.
Here's a fantastic find from a bygone era: an original blackface Fender Princeton Reverb
amp from 1965. You're probably aware that vintage tube amps are highly prized
for their unbeatable tone, and this one has everything you could want in an old
Fender. The cabinet serial number is A05184, marking the year as 1965, but since it says
"Fender Elec. Inst. Co." on the panel, it's still a "pre-CBS" amp, built before the company
was sold to CBS in that year.
Very good to excellent condition. Everything appears to be original and works as it should, and there's even a footswitch included! Sixty-year-old amps like this one don't come along every day, and it's priced accordingly. But you know your electric mandolin is dying to be heard through it. See more photos, or for more information. $5,000 plus shipping.
