Jonathan Mann EM-5, semi-hollow. $1,550.
Heres a semi-hollow 5-string electric "Manndolin" from
Jonathan Mann of Tennessee—one
of the hottest e-mando builders out there right now. Mahogany body with
neck-through construction; 3-piece curly maple/mahogany/maple neck;
wide-grain redwood top with reddish brown stain and gloss lacquer finish; rosewood fretboard and
adjustable floating bridge; 13.875" scale; 12" radius on fretboard.
Gold hardware. Banjo-size frets; abalone position
markers. DiMarzio twin-rail humbucker with push/pull tone pot
for series/parallel pickup switching. Nice hardshell
GWW case included.
This Mann has been well used. There is a good deal of plectrum wear on the pickguard and some on the body. There are two noticeable dings, one on the bass edge and another on the treble edge. No cracks, repairs, or structural damage.
A good Mann is hard to find. Retail on a new EM-5 with hardshell case would be $2,050; get it here for less. See more photos, call 425/772-0231, or for more information. 48-hour approval. $1,550 plus shipping.
