Andrew Jerman 5-string. $850.
Indiana's Andrew Jerman
enjoys an excellent reputation for building affordable
electric mandolins with high-quality
materials and components. On the other hand, he doesn't build full time,
so his stuff is hard to find.
Completed in September 2019, here's a 2-point, 5-string Jerman for CGDAE tuning. Solid mahogany body with flame maple cap in natural finish. Maple neck with ebony fretboard. Single-action truss rod. Custom Tun-O-Matic bridge with individual saddles. Gold hardware. Custom Almuse 5-pole humbucker with volume and tone controls and series/parallel switch.
Excellent condition. Andrew doesn't build this body style any longer, so this instrument is something of a rare find. A Jerman e-mando offers as much bang for the buck as any solidbody electric available today. Gig bag included. See more photos, call 425/772-0231, or for more information. $850 plus shipping.
