Who says mandolins are unfashionable? Rachel co-fronts Boston band Chapter in Verse (the band's guitarist, Richard Cramer, also plays electric mandolin) and sometimes picks this acoustic/electric A-style. I can't make out the name, but it looks to be a Korean-made instrument similar to the Fender FM-52E; Rachel appears to have it fitted with a microphone as well as a pickup.
