A resident of Wichita, Gary was a member of the Riverside Mandolin Quartet. He built his first 5-string while working for S. L. Mossman Guitars. He built the above instrument for himself, and played it in a jazz trio. This thing has an amazing birdseye maple back, which you've just got to see. Gary passed away in 2010.
