If you want to calculate the string tension you'll get when
you put these strings on your mandolin, use this handy calculation tool. I'm not the only one to
offer 8-string sets, although I may be the only one selling
them in ball-end. They're somewhat easier to find than they
used to be, but still not what you'd call commonplace. Here
