Formerly with ThaMuseMeant from Santa Fe, New Mexico, David now plays mandolin and bouzouki in a Portland, Oregon, band called Taarka. His 5-string mandolin is by Martin Fair of Furnace Mountain Guitar Works; David also plays an acoustic mandolin by John Sullivan through a Schertler pickup, as well as a Flatiron with a vintage Gibson magnetic pickup and an Oakwood bouzouki.
