If you recognize Kemper's name at all, it's probably because of his work with art-rock band Arkangel. Or maybe because of his solo records, such as The Vigil and Radiohalo. He's now a full-time member of Texas progressive rock band Atomic Opera, playing, among other things, a Rickenbacker electric mandolin.
