The Japanese company produced these F-style electrics, which date to the late '80s. They're well constructed, like many Japanese mandolins from that era. I'm not sure how many they made, but I've encountered about a half dozen of them so far. Solid body and quite heavy; plays pretty well; looks nice; and the pickup has plenty of juice. If you see one, think about grabbing it.
