Tulsi Venkobasha and sons make custom electric guitars, violins, and Carnatic mandolins in Chennai, India. Above right is a lefty built for Suraj Kumar after a Roger Bacorn design (which, of course, Roger patterned after a Gibson design). Below right is a Strat-style instrument; Tulsi built one of these for Prakash Hariharan. He also reportedly used to build instruments for U Srinivas, and still makes Carnatic mandolins based on Srinivas' famous instrument.
