Chuck resides in the Lake Chelan region of Washington state. Best known for his custom electric guitars, including the Victor, Locomotive, and Thumbs Up series, he made three electric mandolins, including this one, back in 1981 after he stopped building violins. This is reportedly the only 4-string Lindert in existence; the other two had 8 strings.
     The neck and center section of the body are walnut; strips and wings are mahogany. Gotoh tuners; single-coil blade pickup; nonadjustable truss rod.
