Rob has named his instrument making venture Jupiter Creek Music, after
an old goldfield in the hills not far from his home in Cowandilla, South
Australia. All instruments by Jupiter Creek Music are hand-made from
Australian timbers such as jarrah, Tasmanian blackwood, Tasmanian oak,
Australian ash, flooded gum, bunya pine, hoop pine and Queensland maple,
complemented by hardware, strings, frets and pickups from makers such as
Eagle, Gotoh, Darco, Jim Dunlop, WSC and Shadow. Contact Rob by
or check out his
Web site for more information.
Or, if you're jonesing to build your own e-mando,
Rob has a great step-by-step
Web site
detailing his first foray into luthiery.
